Refund Policy
The short version. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial, so you can decide before you are charged anything. If you are charged and Reply Wizard is not right for you, email support@replywizard.app within 14 days of that charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.
1. The free trial comes first
Every paid Reply Wizard plan begins with a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged at all and there is nothing to refund.
The trial exists so that the decision is made before any money changes hands. We would rather you cancel a trial than ask for a refund, and we would much rather you do either than keep paying for something you do not use.
2. 14-day money-back guarantee
If you are charged for your first billing period on a plan and decide within 14 days of that charge that Reply Wizard is not for you, we will refund it in full.
You do not have to explain why. We will ask one optional question about what did not work, because that is how the product gets better, and an unanswered question does not delay the refund.
This applies to both monthly and yearly plans, and to both Pro and Power.
3. Renewals after the first payment
After the first billing period, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. A renewal charge is not automatically refundable, because you were able to cancel at any point in the period before it.
That said, we are not looking to keep money you did not mean to spend. If a renewal caught you out, tell us. In practice we refund a renewal in full when:
- you contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge, and
- you have made little or no use of the plan in that period.
Outside that, we may offer a partial refund for the unused remainder of a yearly term. This is at our discretion and we decide it case by case, in your favour where it is a close call.
4. Cancelling is not the same as a refund
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the period you have already paid for, and it does not cut your access short: you keep the plan until the end of that period, and then the subscription ends.
You can cancel at any time, without contacting us, from the billing portal linked inside the extension under Plan and Billing. If you want a refund as well as a cancellation, ask for it explicitly using the process in section 5.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@replywizard.app from the address you used at checkout, and include:
- the email address on the subscription, if it differs from the one you are writing from, and
- the approximate date of the charge, or the order or receipt number if you have it.
That is the whole process. There is no form and no account to log into. We acknowledge every refund request within one business day.
6. How long a refund takes
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, in the original currency, within 5 business days of approval.
How quickly the money appears after that is up to your bank or card issuer, and is usually a further 3 to 10 business days. We have no control over that step and cannot speed it up, but we can send you proof that the refund was issued.
Your access to the paid plan ends when the refund is issued, and your managed API key stops working at the same time. The free version continues to work with your own key.
7. Where a refund is not available
We will decline a refund where:
- the request falls outside the windows described above and there are no circumstances that would make an exception fair;
- the account has consumed a substantial share of its token allowance for the period being claimed;
- the subscription was terminated by us for a breach of the Terms of Service, such as reselling access or abusing the service; or
- we have reasonable evidence of repeated trial or refund abuse across accounts.
If we decline, we will say which of these applies and why, in plain language, in writing.
8. The free version
The free version of Reply Wizard costs nothing and has nothing to refund. If you use your own API key, you pay your AI provider directly under that provider’s terms. We do not bill you for that usage, we cannot see it, and we cannot refund it. Any billing question about your own key is a question for that provider.
9. Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please email us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks and locks the account while it runs; an email is usually resolved the same day, and the outcome is the same refund.
We will always give you the refund we owe you. Asking us first is faster for you, and it is the only route that lets us also fix whatever caused the problem.
10. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer law that applies to you, including any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation. Where the law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, the law applies.
