Frequently asked questions
Which chat platforms does Reply Wizard support?
Reply Wizard works on WhatsApp Web only, at web.whatsapp.com, in Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers. It does not work on the WhatsApp mobile app, the WhatsApp desktop app, Telegram, Slack, Messenger or Discord. Support for a second platform is something we are looking at, and we will say so here when it exists rather than before.
Does Reply Wizard send messages for me?
No, and it cannot. Every suggestion, transcription, summary and rewrite is placed in the WhatsApp message box for you to read and edit. Pressing send is always your action. Reminders open a chat; they never send anything.
Is my data private?
We do not store your chat history on our servers and we never see your messages unless you ask for something. When you request a suggestion, only the few recent messages needed for that request are sent to the AI provider you chose, and the reply comes straight back to your browser.
If you use the on-device options, Whisper for transcription or Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano for text, nothing leaves your computer at all. Your API keys are stored encrypted in your own browser and are never transmitted to us.
Do I need to provide my own API key?
Only if you want the free version. Reply Wizard is free forever when you bring a key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Mistral, OpenRouter or one of the other supported providers, or when you run a model locally with LM Studio. A Pro or Power subscription exists so you do not have to: it gives you a managed key that we pay for, and there is nothing to configure.
How many tokens do I actually need?
Pro includes 2.5 million tokens a month, which is roughly 2,500 reply suggestions. Most people send fewer than 1,200 WhatsApp messages in a month, so Pro is comfortable for everyday use. Power includes 10 million tokens for people running transcription and summaries all day.
What does a subscription cost, and how is it delivered?
Pro is $1.99 a month or $19.99 a year. Power is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year. Both start with a 7-day free trial. After checkout we email you a licence key, normally the same day and always within one business day; you paste it into the extension's settings page and it works immediately.
How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?
Cancel at any time from the billing portal linked inside the extension, under Plan and Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Our refund policy sets out when a refund is available and how to ask for one.
Is Reply Wizard made by WhatsApp or Meta?
No. Reply Wizard is an independent product built by Palworks FZE LLC, a software business in the United Arab Emirates. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc.
